We are recruiting for the position of 3rd Line Systems Engineer to join our Projects & Implementations team. We have offices in Wimbledon (London), Havant (Hampshire) and Colchester (Essex), which enables us to support client sites all around the South East of England and this role would be based out of one of these locations.

The successful candidate will provide a wide variety of IT services to our customers predominantly focussed on Microsoft, VMWare, Hyper-V, Citrix, Cisco, and SonicWall technologies. This will include project planning, management and implementation as well as issue resolution & consultancy services as required. You will also be required to assist our IT Helpdesk Engineers as a point of escalation.

To be considered for this role you are likely to have experience in an IT reseller / solution provider environment, and be comfortable with interacting with business customers at all levels. This position requires an organised, resourceful, adaptable and self-motivated person who has good communication skills and the ability to perform under pressure, both alone and as part of a team. Previous Microsoft certification achievements would also be required.

We invest in our team's development, Training materials and exams costs are provided to gain Microsoft, VMWare, Cisco, Citrix and SonicWall certifications.

A valid driving license and use of your own car is required as a proportion of your time will be working on customers’ sites.

Experience in as many of the following areas as possible is desirable:

• Proven history of successful consultancy, project planning & implementation
• 3rd line technical skills in Microsoft Windows Server technologies
• 3rd line technical skills in scoping & implementing Intel based server hardware
• 3rd line technical skills in LANs, WANs, Firewalls, VPNs, Cisco preferred.
• Virtualisation (both Hyper-V & VMWare), Storage, Disaster Recovery, Scoping hardware requirements
• Windows Server, Exchange Server, Remote Desktop Services, Microsoft Office, Office 365 Migrations
• 3rd line technical skills in storage systems, NetApp preferable.
• 3rd Line technical skills in Citrix XenApp.
