Businesses and other organisations from all over Hampshire and the south coast gathered this week, for the Portsmouth B2B Expo 2018, at the Pyramids Centre. TMB was among them, explaining how our services help local business use IT to their advantage.
Plenty of different sectors were represented at the event, which took place on 12th July, and it offered a great chance to hear first-hand about the challenges that companies face and how they overcome them.
There were also informative presentations all throughout the day, covering a wide range of issues, such as social media marketing, training and networking.
And speaking of networking, the expo was perfect for making new business connections, as well as being an excellent marketing opportunity. Indeed, TMB went there to promote its own business, but we also gained some interesting contacts and learnt about other companies’ services, some of which complement ours and which could be ideal for future partnerships.
There are, of course, many business events throughout the year, some of which are more successful than others. Attending them isn’t always cheap, and there’s no guarantee that you’ll get any new business from them. But that’s the same with any kind of event or marketing. Sometimes you might not make a single sale, but other times, you might find your next big client.
We certainly gained some high-quality leads from the day, as well as knowledge from the seminars and speeches. In fact, it went so well, we’ve signed up for the November event in Southampton. If you’re going to that event too, please do drop by and say hi.
